Proxy Configuration

QualiBooth supports proxy configuration for Scheduled Scanning. This allows scans to run through a proxy server when websites are protected by firewalls, IP restrictions, VPN-only access, geofencing, or internal network rules.

Proxy settings affect Scheduled Scanning only and do not impact Real-Time Scanning.

Organization-level proxy settings define the default proxy configuration used for all Scheduled Scanning configurations within the organization.

Navigate to:

Settings → Proxy Configuration

Enable Proxy Configuration

To enable proxy usage for your organization:

  1. Open the Proxy Configuration tab
  2. Toggle Enabled
  3. Configure the proxy server details
  4. Click Save

Configuration Fields

Server URL

The address of your proxy server.

Example:

http://proxy-host.net:8080

The URL should include:

  • Protocol (http:// or https://)
  • Hostname or IP address
  • Port number

Username (Optional)

Username used for proxy authentication.

Password (Optional)

Password used for proxy authentication.

Important Notes

  • These settings are used only for Scheduled Scanning
  • Real-Time Scanning is not affected
  • Proxy settings configured here become the default for all scan configurations
  • Individual scan configurations can override the organization proxy settings

Common Use Cases

You may need proxy configuration when:

  • Your website is accessible only from specific countries or regions
  • Your staging environment is protected behind a VPN or firewall
  • Your infrastructure restricts access by IP address
  • Internal environments are not publicly accessible
